Sirius was asked to provide a seamless plasma wall for the Gripen pavilion at Aero India 2007. The projects team had to work with existing widescreen footage that had previously been projected at the Farnborough Airshow. For this particular event there was no room for projection. This meant working out the ratio and format the plasma wall had to take. It worked out to be a 4 x 2 format. Once this was established the team took the existing footage and re-encoded it to allow it to play through our hard disc video server. The plasma wall had to be capable of allowing the client to stop the presentation and switch the centre four screens to a powerpoint presentation. The outer 4 screens were then used to show the clients logo.
